New Idea: a shop

It started with someone else’s big idea. Some friends of ours wanted to convert part of our town’s “Old Woolen Mill” into an antique/boutique shopping experience with a variety of vendors. We were in the early stages of our real estate investing journey.

But the Squatch had a power washer and some free time. He spent a couple days helping our friend clean a hundred years of dust off the floor of the old cutting room.

At the grand opening we showed up with a bounce house and a popcorn machine (an entrepreneurial endeavor we started in January of 2020). The Chick made regular visits to shop. Too often, maybe. ;)

And she talked about “someday” having a shop there. Would it be repurposed furniture? Vintage clothes? Then the boutique idea took hold.

And here we are. We are “curating” a collection of items we love and sharing them with our community.
